What's Included in Every Round
Each of the 8 visits is tailored to the season and your specific grass type. We bring the right product at the right time — not a one-size-fits-all bag from a box store.
-
1
Seasonal Fertilization Granular or liquid fertilizer matched to your grass's growth cycle — building root strength and blade density.
-
2
Pre-Emergent Weed Control Applied before crabgrass and broadleaf weeds germinate — stops problems before they start.
-
3
Post-Emergent Weed Control Targeted spot treatment of existing broadleaf weeds — dandelion, clover, spurge — without harming your turf.
-
4
Lawn Health Assessment On each visit we note thin spots, bare areas, or signs of disease and report back so you can act before issues escalate.
Year-Round Coverage
8-Visit Annual Schedule
Timed to match Central Mississippi's climate and warm-season turf growth patterns.
Pre-Emergent + Starter Fertilizer
Applied as soil temps approach 55°F. Stops crabgrass before it sprouts and feeds the lawn as it breaks dormancy.
Broadleaf Weed Control + Fertilizer
Post-emergent spot treatment for any broadleaf weeds that made it through, plus a nitrogen boost for rapid spring green-up.
Slow-Release Summer Feed
Slow-release nitrogen sustains color and density through Mississippi's hottest weeks without pushing excessive growth.
Heat Season Application
Iron and micronutrient treatment to maintain deep color and stress tolerance during peak heat and humidity.
Summer Weed Retreat + Feed
Second post-emergent application targeting summer annual weeds that emerged mid-season.
Pre-Emergent Fall Application
Early fall pre-emergent stops winter annual weeds like annual bluegrass and henbit before they germinate.
Fall Fertilizer + Broadleaf Control
Phosphorus and potassium blend strengthens root systems heading into dormancy and fights fall broadleaf weeds.
Winterizer + Final Pre-Emergent
Closes the annual cycle — stores energy in roots for early spring green-up and stops late-season weeds before they go to seed.
The Science
Pre-Emergent vs. Post-Emergent
Two types of weed control, each with a critical window. Miss either one and you're playing catch-up all season.
Applied before weeds germinate. Creates a chemical barrier in the soil that prevents weed seeds from establishing root systems. Timing is everything — soil temperature drives application windows, not the calendar.
Targets: Crabgrass, goosegrass, annual bluegrass, spurge, and other grassy annuals.
Applied after weeds have germinated and are actively growing. Selective herbicides kill broadleaf weeds while leaving your turf unharmed. Most effective on young, actively growing weeds.
Targets: Dandelion, clover, henbit, dollarweed, wild violet, and other broadleaf weeds.
